Having a concealed carry mindset requires committing to the lifestyle of carrying a firearm at all times. This means making the choice every morning to carry your gun on your person because you acknowledge that violence in the world exists and a self-defense situation can occur anywhere and at any time. It also means dealing with a few beginner inconveniences that come along with carrying a firearm, such as finding the proper gear that is comfortable and fitting to hold it, planning around buildings like courthouses that do not allow guns on their premise, and dressing in order to conceal your weapon which in some cases means sizing up for a looser fit. Although some things in your life will require some adaptation by concealed carry, they will be outweighed by the safety and peace of mind it provides and with time and experience these beginner inconveniences will be a thing of the past.
